My schedule

Hey everyone,

I'm probably not going to post on this every day like I've been doing. It's not quite as exciting in Australia as it was in Fiji. Things are more like the U.S. It's still really different, but not as much.

Tonight I'm going on a cruise. We are going to see the Sydney harbor from a ship. It should be fun, and I'm excited to finally see downtown Sydney. Before we get on the boat though, Philip and I are going to walk around Sydney and I'm going to try to find a strawberry daiquiri. Philip is going to try wine. Neither of us really know what we're doing. :)

Tomorrow I'm going to downtown as well. We are going to climb the Harbor Bridge. We are also going to walk around downtown and hopefully shop! Opals are really cheap downtown. Before I come home, I want to get an opal ring or necklace for myself.

Tomorrow is also my last day to figure out my stinking classes. I hope I can get into my last two classes I need. I signed up for them, I just don't know if I will get in them. Chances are I'm going to do an internship while I am here as well. Wouldn't it be awesome working with whales and dolphins? :)

This weekend I'm going to Chatswood and I'm getting my bike brakes fixed. I assembled my bike myself. The front brakes don't work. I tried riding my bike today and I couldn't stop because my back ones suck too. So I'm going to pay a couple bucks and have a professional adjust them for me. Also, Chatswood apparently has a larger mall than Marsfield? I want to see this! Our mall here is huge. Don't worry mom and dad, I don't buy things at the mall. I just like to look :) But both Chatswood and Marsfield are part of North Sydney. Things are so confusing here.

I decided that I really like the food here. It makes me feel good looking at a granola bar seeing three ingredients and no preservatives. Everything here- even packaged stuff- has two or three ingredients. And the ingredients are things that you can understand! No scientifically engineered crap! I really like the yogurt here. I got some today for the first time. It was made today! It's only good for two days! It tastes so fresh and thick. Actually, most things you buy here are only good for 3 days max. But they taste better. The only thing I don't like about the food here is that it doesn't tell you calories. Everything is in Kilojoules. Good thing I took chemistry!

Well it's 4:00 pm and I'm still in sweats. I need to get dressed up a little for the cruise, so I need to go.

P.S. Will someone please pet Teddy for me? Thanks :)
