Adventure Time!!

I re-read some of my first posts. How did you all read those?! The spelling and grammar was horrible while I was in Fiji because the keyboards didn't work well and were missing letters, and you had to type fast because you kept losing connection. But man! Those are awful! Good job to those who actually understood what I was trying to say.

So. I won't be posting for a while. I have lots and lots of adventures and travels drawing near! Here are my adventures coming up!!

I'm going to downtown Sydney with Philip tomorrow. It's my last day in Sydney for a while and I'll be leaving for nearly a week without him :( So we are going to have a fun time exploring Chinatown, Bondi Junction, and walking to a few different beaches.

Then I leave for a field trip with my ecology class. We are going to Hornsby and camping there for a while. It's the same place I got leeches on me, so I'm not too thrilled. But I'm going to make the most of it and enjoy the scenery.

I get back from the camping trip the night of the 22nd. I will get home, shower, and pack for my next adventure. The 23rd Philip and I are going to Manly Beach with our Australian friends and BBQing it up. The 24th I'm going to an all day statistics class. The morning of the 25th I leave for my Aussie adventure with Philip! It will be so much fun, I'm so excited.

On the 25th we will fly to Harvey Bay. We are staying in a hostel (sort of like a hotel except you share the room with 6 other people you don't know) and we are only there for one night.

Then on the 26th we go to Fraser Island and camp and 4 wheel with a guide around the island. We will be here for three days.

Next, we take an overnight bus ride to Airlie Beach which is a 10 hour ride. I really hope I can sleep on the bus. We will arrive in the morning and check into that hostel (Australians are not too big into hotels.) The stay on Airlie beach for one day and then the next day we are going to the Whitsunday Islands where the great barrier reef is!! We will take sailing lessons, scuba dive, snorkel, kayak, and have a great time exploring the islands for three days. Hopefully I can get a tan :)

From the Whitsunday Islands, we travel to Cairns. We are only there for like five hours, but we will just take a walk through the city. It's in the north and it's hot.

We fly out of Cairns that day and arrive in Darwin. Darwin is in the middle of the country in the very very north so it's HOT. It's 90-130 all year round. We will be in Darwin for two days exploring the outback going on crocodile tours, laying on the beach, and exploring the city. Then the following day we leave on our camping adventure!

Our tour guide will pick us up at the hostel in Darwin. We will first go to Kakadu National park (very very famous park). Then we will 4 wheel and ride camels for 1,000 miles to Alice Springs (the very center of Australia... complete desert.) We will be camping all along the way. We will stop at famous spots along the way such as...

Kings Canyon


Devils Marbles



and many many more. I'm so excited.

I can't wait to tell you all about my adventures when I get back! I'm not taking my computer because I don't want to lug it around (plus I wouldn't have internet in the desert anyways).

P.S. Please pray that my moms surgery goes well. September 24th she goes in for surgery (the 25th Australian time... so the day I leave =/ .... )
